I didn’t realize how hectic my new schedule would be now that I can’t find time to search for some womens perfume online and find my refill. As I need to be always well groomed – having the best perfume and a nice makeup to complete the whole corporate look is a must. I should always look my best everyday and I can’t afford not to wear my favorite scent.

Good thing I still have a little of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea with me. I can content myself with its scent until I got myself a new Bulgari. I think this time I have to try their Amethyst after all it’s my favorite color!

It seems like God still wants to see me explore my options with Sales Department after all.

I know this will not be an easy task, I suddenly felt pressured and scared. But I trust that wherever God puts me, it is for the best.

The bearer of the news expected that the news would bring me in tears. If I am my old self I would be crying a river right now. It was shocking news to start the day but it starts and ends there. I was shocked, somehow sad, somehow depressed but not totally downhearted.

Since I read the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, a companion book that I can recommend to anybody who wants to live a happy and uncomplicated life, I feel at peace with myself. If something unexpected happens to me I try not to fret much. I know there are better things that are bound to happen. I know God has better plans for me. If one thing I aspire so much did not happen, it’s not meant to be.

Imagine if I pushed myself to marrying my ex-bf?! Would I live a blissful life right now with my great husband (sorry for the word great- but that’s what husband wanted to be called these days and I won’t disagree, loooovvvve him that much!!)

Plan A seems vague right now so I shall start realizing Plan B! Aja!!!

You have to read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz in your lifetime. Why? It sums up the four agreements that are often neglected by people. The book is quite simple but it has helped me a lot in my life. I can say that this is one of the best companion books i have ever read! My favorite i have to say.

What are the 4 Agreements?
1. Be impeccable with your word
2. Don’t take anything personally
3. Don’t make assumptions
4. Always do your best

Sounds simple but if everybody knows about this – the world will be so much better world to live in. It is just so amazing that when you try to follow those four agreements your life will be so much better. It does help my life better – I am just so thankful to a friend who told me about that companion book – now am paying it forward and sharing that great book to friends and family.

In fact I have it in my bag every day. I learned to appreciate its scent when a dear friend sent it over on my birthday. But my favorite perfume of all is Bulgari Omnia Green Jade, another gift from that very dear friend of mine. Since I love its scent I would only wear it every Sunday when attending Mass. Plus the fact that Bulgari is kinda pricey, I only want to wear it on very special occasions.

A colleague told me that Bulgari scent is for Sales people, its scent is commanding a good deal. When you sell and buy gold online, the scent is for you. However Elizabeth Arden is for the Finance people she says. I wonder if what she’s telling me is true but am following her anyway. So it would mean a switch from now on. Expect that every day I would be wearing my Bulgari perfume and my Elizabeth Arden perfume would be use for special occasions only.

I have been warned. I have been discouraged by few. I have been criticized. I have been pushed. I have been told so many things and the worst that I have to hear is that I will not make it.

If I would listen to all of them – where would I be right now? Maybe I would be crying and fainting, very scared of what’s to come. BUT that’s not what’s going to happen. That isn’t happening. In fact, all the negative things people have been telling me is pushing me further to make positive things happen! I will do what I have to do and reach for my goals no matter how hard it could be. I have been in this situation countless times before but this time I am braver and wiser. I have a BIG GOD to back me up and inspirations to keep me going.

Sometimes hormones are to blame so when depression caught you, fight it with this ways I found really helpful;

Eat! It works for me. When I feel down, I eat my comfort food or chocolates. A full and satisfied stomach makes me happy!

Look great! I was feeling low yesterday and to fight it I went to a Salon to have an eyelash extension, (thanks to my dear friend for giving me her voucher!) I feel prettier and it made me feel better.

Communicate. Talk your heart out without worries or apprehensions to a confidante or friend. It would feel so much better if you let it all out to a friend who knows you when you’re up and down.

Watch happy movies. Relax and spend time watching happy flicks at home or at the cinema. I always go for romantic movies. Romantic movies always make me smile.

Read books. Read the bible, any companion book or your favorite book. I suggest you read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, an all-time favorite companion book that boost my self-worth pronto!

Listen to your fave music. If you sit right next to me and hear gospel songs and Bob Marley, you will learn that I am a bit down in the dumps. But know that after a few minutes I will be in high spirits again.

Play! Go online and play concrete blades at diamond-blades.com or ask your friend to play your favorite sport together.

FYI, Asin is one of the famous bands in the Philippines back in the ‘80s.

Funny how my husband, who plays the guitar every Sunday on our Mass service in our Parish, who would teach me tips and tricks on how to play the guitar, isn’t giving up on coaching me but I am giving up on that skill. Playing the guitar needs patience and am running out of it, boy it’s hard! But, I can play the guitar with only one song I learned from him six years ago! And I haven’t moved on since then.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we have matching La Patrie Guitars and together we would play the guitar together? Maybe this would give me inspiration to get back to learning how to play the guitar again.
