Window Shopping Online

I created my first ever account at ebay.ph, I was assured by husband’s cousin, who works at ebay.com, that the site is real and there are a lot of things that I can buy for less. So I spent a number of hours browsing through the site, looking for converse shoes for husband, a stroller for baby number 2, Elizabeth Arden perfume or Coach Wristlet for me and cute dresses for my toddler Yena who’s growing so fast and is running out of something decent to wear.

I didn’t know that window shopping online can eat up a lot of time. I mean I cannot stay long at facebook but at that site, I got hooked for hours. I don’t know if I can be addicted to browsing some stainless steel barrels at drumsofsteel.com as much as I am at that online shopping store.

But unlike going home from a day of window shopping at the mall, I didn’t feel so tired even after hours of window shopping online and my shopping cart is empty. There’s a joy window shopping online brings, it’s seeing beautiful clothes, shoes and accessories for less! I am sure what to do when I have extra cash next time.

One key to enjoying online shopping is to remember to budget not only your money but also your time. One person’s convenience can be another person’s addiction. Some shoppers may wish to set time limits for themselves. That can actually make shopping more fun. Someone who only allows themselves to shop a fixed amount of time will have something to look forward to each day, rather than regretting the time they wasted.
