I first saw Nivea when I was a child, my mother usually would receive them in a package from her cousins abroad. She uses the moisturizer and the empty can I would usually collect as my coin keeper. I would always remember that perfect smell right after mom’s application and that was one sweet memory to recall.
A little twenty years after, the ritual has been passed on to me and my sister who loves Nivea products. I remember there was one Thursday at Girls Talk when we had to share our beauty rituals and I have Nivea products in it. So I am a loyal Nivea fan.
I cannot believe that Nivea is in the beauty industry for over 100 years now, Nivea has not only made my skin, my sister’s and my mother’s skin felt so much better – it has brought a lot of joy to every individual (young and old!) and help in skincare no matter what the color of your skin is.
And it is really a great honor for me to wear Nivea’s 100 years shirt while posing with my daughter last night. I know the habit of using Nivea will be passed on to her, after all that’s what she sees me using every now and then.
