Is it Safe to Exercise when Pregnant?

Exercise gives a lot of healthy benefits, but pregnant women should do it with much caution. As always, safety should come first.

First, you need to consult your doctor to learn if you can do some exercise. There are plenty to consider, if your pregnancy seems to be problem-free I guess it’s good to exercise in moderation. Also, it is best to take extra calories since you burn them out after exercising and drink lots of water before, during and after the routine.

I guess it is still ok to wear some yoga pants when you do some yoga poses but make sure that you keep on moving. Do not overdo the exercise, some say you can just walk around the house and do the usual routine you do before getting pregnant but don’t overrate things. As advised it is good to take 30 minutes of moderate exercise in a day as long as your doctor said it’s Ok for you to exercise.

Moderation is key and cut back on the pounding, run less and swim more.
