Some say that the days pass by so quickly when you enjoy someone’s company and I think I am enjoying myself for five years now with my current employer! Well in fact, yesterday I celebrated my fifth year of employment! Yays.
Which made me compute that I have been on the work force for nine long years already? Nine long years and where am I right now? If I have worked overseas i might be living in my dream house already. I might be driving my own car. I might have a big fat bank accounts or I might be traveling from one place to another on a getaway! But should I be happy as what I am now?
I know working locally isn’t as rewarding as what the green pastures of the foreign country offers. And if I am that brave enough, I should have taken that route long time ago when I was still single. But there’s no regret! I can still enjoy some of the good things in life plus the fact that I live with my family. Together we wish, work and fulfill our dreams.
That if I grow old, I have a little insurance and SSS retirement to back me up. I hope though that it’s fast to claim them like SSDI!
