GT: The Hardest Part

For a girl who pretty grew up being so obedient, home buddy and loving (as what my neighbors usually coined about me) – I cannot imagine giving my mother a heartache as bad as what I did when I runaway and married Yobib. I hurt my mother and that was hardest for me to bear.

I am basically a good daughter according to my mother, she didn’t even lay her hands on me on my 26 years of existence! But on the day I married Yobib I felt her outburst! I saw her fury and even disowned me. I was hurt but I know she was also hurt the most. After all I was her baby…

Yobib, my father, Yena, Me and my mother enjoying Boracay =)

The hardest part of it all, yobib and I cannot even step foot in our own house, Our first Christmas as a couple were spent differently and there’s an uneasy feeling everywhere when yobib and I were together at my parents house. Back then, everything was blue, sad, sadder than sad.

But hey, that was eons ago. Now it’s completely different! See how much my parents bond with us in our recent getaway to Boracay.. The hardships have flown to thin air…

Sometimes, even the toughest heart can melt slowly when they witness true love. Everyone, somehow or rather, still believes in a little fairy tale in their lives. I’m glad things worked out between your parents and your family. :)

im glad things are straightened out with your folks, sometimes its their love for us that causes them to be overprotective of us- but once they grasp our true feelings, that same love will support us all the way through.

have a great weekend, here’s my GT entry- hope you’d check it out too.
