Women on Pregnancy and Cerebral Palsy

Pregnant women should be very cautious on their condition during the nine-month period. Harmful effects of high exposure to stress and pressure on pregnancy have not been specifically identified; however, it is linked to miscarriage and preterm delivery.

Also, I came across an article in The Journal of the American Medical Association concerning the association of maternal infection and cerebral palsy. According to study, fever of an expecting mother exceeding 38 degree Celsius while in labor has increased risk of unexplained cerebral palsy.

Close monitoring for nine months on diet and habits is never an easy task, but having a healthy baby on mind, it may seem that pregnancy is such a rewarding journey.
