BM: The Sky is Bluer in Aklan!

My family and i had a week long vacation in Aklan, Iloilo, Negros Occidental and Bacolod last week.  The trip is a gift for my parents and in-laws actually but we decided to come along since we have never been to their provinces for ages, and it’s time we meet their siblings. Yeah, if you notice mine and husband’s roots are from the Visayas region of the Philippines and just an hour plane ride from manila…

This is where we stayed in aklan, my uncle’s house in the middle of the rice fields! It’s cool to see the blue sky hiding on the clouds!

The sky- i have never seen such BLUE in manila!!!

And the beach and the sky are both soothing blend of blue!

My mother on the left and my father wearing blue with his siblings… ^_^

Head on to Smiling Sally’s blog to view more Blue Monday entries. Have a great week everyone!

Weel, I am going to find a map and see exactly where this beautiful place is! An hour from Manila you say? The sky is so blue and that beach is so white and smooth! Just gorgeous. We are buried in snow and I am wishing for some warm weather. Linda
