Female butterflies die after laying their eggs. But you have to note that their love making with a male butterfly could last for 24 hours. Its like saying, at least they die happy.
On a bee’s life, the male bees’ only contribution to their species is to help the queen bee on the reproduction process, when the queen bee has lay eggs, the male bee dies. At least, he also dies happily.
Seriously, what our tour guide stressed out in our farm tour aside from talking about the best diet pills for women and eating organic products, the queen bee and the female bees are the most hardworking creature there is. If they would not work there would be no honeybees or other products coming from the honeys. 
What great endurance those male butterflies have, making love for 24 hours and after that they die. What a happy way to die, lol. Same with male bee workers who mate with the queen bee.
