I spent my high school life in a convent-like school. Our four mottos inside the school is to study, pray, work and play. I learned a lot about the catholic religion inside the school, where we live with the nuns and only get to have vacation once a year for 2 weeks. And on my second year, I wanted to be a nun too. I was a naughty teen so the nuns looked at it as a joke.
But yeah, that could be a joke. Coz I would be the naughtiest nun if ever. =)
Now how’s my spiritual life? Though I miss praying the rosary, I still go to church every Sunday and on Holy Days of Obligation, serve our parish through music with my husband. And my faith in God is getting better every day! I still pray most of the time when happy or sad. I sing the gospel songs when I am down, I look at the nature’s beauty when I am lost. I have a lot of questions about my religion but I don’t question my God.

My GT post this week is up HERE.
love this line "I have a lot of questions about my religion but I don’t question my God." serious ang aking post ngayon… hahaha!!!
at super agree ako sa linya mo: "I have a lot of questions about my religion but I don’t question my God." apir!
I can't do it.. parang mukha sa loob ng convent. Anyway, nice sharing sis..:) happy GT!
hahaha, natawa ako sa comment ni Vernz, lovers in parish siguro kayo. hehehe, Anyway, I love this post of yours, Nik. Iba'-iba nga lang talaga practices natin in our Catholic faith, the most important is that we don't go astray with our love towards God. We're the same, pangarap ko rin mag-madre nuon, but people seem to laugh at me because I'm a joker. Eh ngayon ko lang napalabas damdamin ko nuon na it's too late for that dream to come true because I have something much better, being a Mama.
You are very religious really. You can further enhance your spirituality by knowing God in a deeper and more intimate way by constant prayers and daily reading of the word of God as contained in the Holy Bible. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
