GT: Friends At Work

Hello girls! Just in case you’re wondering, THIS IS NOT NIKO. This is her marce K, doing a guest post for her. Poor girl is still having problems with her laptop’s internet connection at home. Anyways, while she sits at the office (not-so) silently fuming about her connection-less Nancy, let me start the ball rolling with this week’s Girls Talk theme, friends at work. I don’t have any recent pictures, because as some of you may know, I have been working from home for the past three years so naturally, no co-workers. But does Fedhz count? I mean she could very well be my coworker with all the time we spend chatting on YM. LOL. So if she counts, here’s us, during their three-day vacation here in Baguio. This was taken on the children’s playground at Burnham park.

These next two pictures are from my last job as a full-time office girl (writer/researcher). I still talk to them once in a while on messenger. They are, after all, doing their work via the Internet too. I haven’t seen them since I resigned from work before giving birth to Svet, but I hope to see them in June when we go to Manila for Seiko and Jade’s homecoming.

Taken at Bagoong Club Resto somewhere in Quezon City, with one of my bosses (the woman beside me) and one of Svet’s godmothers (the one in white). The girl in orange, Ethel, is the one I am closest to in the office. An office best friend, if you must.

Some sort of class errr.. work picture. My boss of all bosses, Sir Dale (not in the picture) insists they be taken from time to time so he can post it in his Facebook account. LOL. Yes, there were only eight of us during that time. It seems that nobody else who applied can handle the work pressure. Tee hee. The two guys in white are also bosses (yes, we have so many of them). We were a close unit, mainly because, well, we have no choice but to be close. LOL. The last two pictures are from my fist job.

This was taken during a company outing. In the picture with me are Jet (my closest friend in the Art Department. That’s where I worked. As a proofreader), Ate Pen (semi-close to her because she’s so sweet and thoughtful), my boss Mam Tess (very strict but is kind) and Ate Chel (we still send messages to each other from time to time on Facebook. Hee hee).

The only person added in this picture is Kuya Arman, and he’s the most patient mentor I’ve ever had in the workplace. He’s very cheery and not at all strict, so I’m surprised why I learned anything at all from him. LOL.

So there. Kinda long entry huh? I guess this is my punishment for being on and off GT this month. Tee hee. So how about you? We’re dying to know some of your friends from work, so do share!
