Nuestra Señora dela Leche

Last month, some generous donors gave a 5ft statue of the Nuestra Señora dela Leche at our Parish. The nun who introduced the statue said that the lady was said to grant a woman’s wish to have a child. I guess it is by faith that someone who’s really barren can have a child. Just like some of the old women in the bible who gave birth to their first born regardless of their age.

Anyways, Nuestra Senora dela Leche is a patron for those who asks for a child, wants to seeks protection for their children and a harmonious relationship for the family. The prayer below is for all moms and for women who wanted to be a mom..

Prayer for Motherhood:

Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
